Morris County

Morris County is steeped in Revolutionary War history, with Morristown National Historical Park being a key site where General George Washington and his troops spent two harsh winters. The Ford Mansion, Washington's headquarters, offers tours that explore the life of the General during the war. The Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morris Township is a beautiful historic garden and mansion that provides a glimpse into the area's Gilded Age past.
