Sussex County is home to High Point State Park, which features the highest elevation in New Jersey. The park offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside, as well as hiking, camping, and swimming opportunities. The Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, partially located in Sussex County, provides additional outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and exploring waterfalls along the Delaware River.
