New Jersey's Largest German Christmas Market
Starting back in 2001 by a handful of residents the Lake Mohawk German Christmas Market has grown to become New Jersey's largest of its kind over the last 19 years! Let us tell you this is one holiday event you don't want to miss!
The market is full of holiday cheer, handcrafted goods, and so many amazing smells that help to cater to the magic feeling. One thing that this market has that many others lack is the environment and setting! If you're not familiar with Lake Mohawk it's nestled in the valley between two hills. Along the end of the lake is the Country Club and boardwalk that extends to White Deer Plaza, a village square that resembles that of the heritage of the original Christmas Markets tucked away in the Swiss Alps.
Enough about the setting lets get onto the food and the shopping! There are more than 100 food and shopping vendors lining the boardwalk and tucked away inside the country club! You can find handcrafted toys and goods, clothing, artwork, pet accessories, and candy shops. There's an endless amount of different food vendors as well! Don't forget the beer! What kind of German Market would it be without beer!
