3. Tour The Governors Mansion

Drumthwacket is the official mansion of the New Jersey Governor and is open for public tours! The mansion is open most Wednesday for public and private group tours. This is for sure one historical fun free thing to do in NJ! Advanced registration is required and can be made Here.


4. Explore at The Cape May County Zoo

Put your safari hat on and get wild at the Cape May County Park & Zoo! There are over 85 Acres of lush parkland and gardens along with a zoo that cares for over 550 animals made up of 250 different species! 5. Princeton University's Art Museum

6. Go back In Time at Batsto Village

Know for both its beauty and its historical significance, Batsto Village has roots dating back to 1766 when Charles Read built the Batsto Iron Works along the Batsto River. 7. Get Petting at Funny Farms Rescue

This 15-acre privately owned farm in Mays Landing, New Jersey, shelters and cares for unwanted, sick, elderly, injured and abused animals. Funny Farms has been rescuing animals since 2000 and has helped over 550! You can purchase food to feed the animals from the store at any time! This is a must-do cute and fun thing to do in New Jersey for free! Who doesn't want to spend a day petting some rescues! A visiting waiver must be completed before you go. 8. Spend a Day At Washingtons Headquarters

10. Stargaze Through an Observatories Telescope

Weekends from April - October the United Astronomy Clubs of N.J. provides free public programs at their observatory in Jenny Jump State Forest.
